Arte Pura

Founded on August 29, 2003, in Lisbon, Portugal, by André Luiz Vieira. Arte Pura is a nonprofit organisation whose main objective is to make a better world through education, body movement, and musicality of Brazilian culture, creating and forming citizens in Brazil and Europe, and helping society live in a truly better world.

Ingrid Santos

Ingrid Santos was born in 1991 in the city of Maceió, Brasil. She graduated in dance with the Escola Superior de Dança in Lisbon. For as long as she can remember, she has been in love with the art world. Her dance training started in her infancy when the quadrilhas juninas (a Brazilian dance) were her passion. Likewise, the brass bands, folks dances, African dances, modern dance, ballet, contemporary dance to Capoeira. In 2012, she began to practice Capoeira with the Master, E.T., in Portugal and she became enchanted with the forms of movement that Capoeira makes possible and, ever since then, has been dedicated to the study of this art.

André Vieira

André Luiz Vieira (E.T. Arte Pura) was born in 1975 in Recife, Brazil. He is the founder of Associação Arte Pura Capoeira, Percussão e Danças Brasileiras. Capoeira master and teacher of Brazilian dances. He has a long journey of learning, research and training. André started training Capoeira in Pernambuco, Brazil, in 1983. He has been teaching this art in the world for over 25 years. Currently coordinates and develops Capoeira and dance works for Portugal, Brazil, Spain and England. Today, he counts 44 countries visited around the world through Capoeira. It brings together people of different ages, nationalities and social classes to learn about Brazilian culture in an educational and fun way.
