Arte Pura is much more than just a capoeira group, it is a family that welcomes everyone with a beautiful energy that you can see on the faces of everyone who takes part, adults and children alike. The instructors are patient, professional and engage well, even with the smallest ones. We also love that now, the Mums and Dads can take classes together with our children. I'm happy to be able to show my children a little bit of Brazilian culture through this sport that offers so much from self-defense to discipline, dance, music and health.

My son attend the Arte Pura Capoeira class on Saturdays since end of October and he loves it so muchhh . The teachers Ingrid and Andre and their little daughter Anitta they are super friendly and very patience with the kids. They connect with the kids very well, making each capoeira class feel like a family.It's a great combination of music, instruments, martial arts and fun. We couldn't expect better teachers for our son.... Tnk you you very much and keep doing your incredible job.... and we can't wait to start the adults Capoeira class 🇧🇷🇬🇧 💪

Arte Pura is the right, not to say the best school of Capoeira I have ever found in London. Our Princess ♥️ it.The teachers André & Ingrid are friendly, skilled and very professional. The classes are amazing as the teachers combine self-defence, martial art/acrobacy and singing in order to deliver the best of Brazilian Capoeira. Apart from learning Capoeira, the kids also learn to sing and speak Brazilian Portuguese. All kids are given the oportunity to perform and show off their Capoeira skills. I♥️♥️ capoeira. Capoeira is one of our daughter’s highlights of the week. Her teacher Ingrid gave her a wonderful book which we use to memorize the music instruments’ names and chants. It’s great for her because Capoeira incorporates so many different elements—running, dancing, music, coordination of movement, and Portuguese—which keep fascinating her. And Ingrid is very good at keeping it fun.

Arte Pura capoeira was the best find of 2021 for our family. My daughter struggles to understand and speak Portuguese due to only being exposed to it by me, but this has changed a lot since starting Capoeira. Not only she has a chance to be active, but also practice the language and learning Brazilian culture while engaging with other Portuguese speaking children. Ingrid and Andre are always extremely attentive and caring towards all children and my daughter looks forward to their classes all week. Even if Portuguese is not a language you want to learn or practice, capoeira as a class offers a great combination of martial art, dance and music, you would never get bored! Also, being able to practice Capoeira at the same time as my daughter at their Capoeira Family classes gives me a chance to focus on myself while still having something to share with her. I highly recommend Arte Pura!
